Ok here are a few kinda of random things, um i probably will be getting some pics of my arm in the cast, but here are 3 shot of me attempting at being a goalie. And the last two well are my X-rays of my broken hand.

Kinda crappy quality but this is rollerhockey and well it isnt to bright of a place. but i swear that is me, but if you look close it looks like the guy fanned on the shot ;-p (thank god)

another shot of me getting ready to probably get scored on. Hey i only been playing goalie for a couple of months, so i pretty much suck. But I use my large size to take up as much space as possible.

This was during like a face off or stopage of play i think, cause we are all just kinda standing around. One of the reason i started playing goalie was casue i normally play defense and usually got in the way of any shot i could. Well after many sore ankles shins and what not from blocking hard slapshots I figured i could do the same but only be more padded for protection. I dont think i am doing that good, but the guys i play with say that fer not having any couching or training i am doing pretty good. Heh and i got a real good glove hand. All i have to learn is to control the puck with that damn goalie stick.

Ok here is a picture of my x-rays. Um i broke my right hand, i just kinda of noticed that i scanned them in backwards. So just hold your right hand up and turn you wrist so your thumb is gonig to the right and that is the picture you are looking at.

Same as above its backwards, sorry it took me for ever to scan the damn things in let along get them right ;-p

Ok i guess i should explain what happened. This was a rollerhockey league that it happened in. a bunch of friends who normally play in parking lots and use a ball not a puck wanted to join in as a team. Somehow i got nominated as couch/captain. So i got everyones money coughed up the dough for the matching jersys and everything was great. Before the first game, like maybe the day before if that, the goalie called and said he had injuried an important muscle and couldnt play. So little old me who sucks and only palyed about a month of goalie steped in. Then the guys didnt paly like a team,It really wasnt their fault they weren't use to boards or the puck and we played against teams that had plays. SO pretty much i was in shell shock after each game. 3rd to last game i finally got a goalie (a real one) so i could come out and kick some ass. I got 2 goals and 2 assist i think but we still lost. next game both teams got goals early but the rest of the game was pretty even. until the last 10 seconds. Puck went into the corner and i went after it and so did another guy on the other team. but i didnt go after the puck right away ( ref didnt like me and i already had a penality for a similiar thing) the guy centered it and they scored with 6 seconds left. Not even thinking i hauled off and punched the glass. the next day i find out that my hand isnt swollen but actually i had fractured my um 5th metacarpal (spelling?) so i got a nifty cast for 6 weeks and am currently going insane cause of it. But that is what happened. I think if next spring the same guys want to do it again we might, by te end of the season everyone starting learning where someone would be and talking back and forth. basically we started looknig like a team. only time will tell i guess. As an update, i got the cast off after the 6 weeks sbut was still laid up for another 6 weeks cause it wasnt healed yet. and when i finally was able to start back i was hit pretty hard with strep throat for about 3 weeks. then got back and cuaght a puck in the ankle and was out another week. then i got back into the swing of things and while attempting to hockey stop my skate caught a groove and stopped while my whole body kept turning. needless to say i suffered a torn tendon in my ankle. and was out 3 months. and now i am playing again but i am taking it easy and playing un godly amount of games like i was. its been a injury pron season and i afraid of what might happen next.
